MONTHLY ADVISORY · £1,995 + VAT WHERE APPLICABLE

Your Senior Technical
Sounding Board.

Someone who knows your business. Independent technical judgement when you need it.

You shouldn’t have to start from scratch every time a technical question comes up. Work with an experienced adviser who understands your platform, your commercial priorities and the decisions that brought you here.

Selective engagements. Subject to availability and mutual fit.

WHO IT’S FOR

An established SaaS.
A founder who wants clarity.

You’re a non-technical founder or CEO of a revenue-generating SaaS business. You work with developers, freelancers or an agency, but lack trusted senior technical leadership—or want an impartial perspective independent of your suppliers.

You need advice on architecture, development expenditure, risks, opportunities and growth without employing a full-time CTO.

If your SaaS started with AI-assisted development and has grown beyond your ability to confidently assess its technical foundations, this relationship can help you decide what to do next.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

More context. Better-informed decisions.

Two private sessions each month

Two remote meetings of up to 60 minutes each. Discuss proposals, architecture, developers, infrastructure costs, scaling, technical debt, AI, security concerns and the technical choices behind your business priorities.

Direct email access

Ask technical questions as they arise. You’ll receive an initial response within one UK working day. Complex requests requiring significant investigation may need separate scoping.

Knowledge that builds over time

I get to know your platform, development arrangements, commercial objectives and previous decisions. That accumulated context makes future advice more relevant and valuable.

Independent judgement

I work for you, not your developers or development agency. Recommendations are made in your interests, with the commercial implications made clear.

THE RELATIONSHIP IN PRACTICE

Bring the decisions that matter.

  1. Establish the context

We start by understanding your business, development arrangements, current challenges and what you want to achieve.

  2. Build a regular rhythm

Use the two monthly sessions for your priorities, upcoming decisions and the questions that need a fuller conversation.

  3. Keep a sounding board close

Use email between meetings when questions arise. We carry the context forward, rather than treating each decision in isolation.

STRAIGHTFORWARD MONTHLY SUPPORT

£1,995 / month

+ VAT where applicable

No long-term contract. Cancel with one month’s notice.

You can subsequently resume, subject to availability and prevailing pricing. A break does not reserve your place or hold your previous rate.

Apply for monthly advisory

The right fit matters.

I take on advisory clients selectively, subject to current availability. Before agreeing to work together, I consider your business, the challenges you’re facing, and whether we’d work well together.

Above all, I need to be confident that my involvement can deliver enough value to make the engagement worthwhile for you.

Applying is the first step in exploring that fit, rather than a commitment from either of us. A short introductory fit conversation is complimentary.

Already had a Technical Clarity Session? Join within 30 days of that session and its £495 fee is credited against your first month.

ADVICE, WITH CLEAR RESPONSIBILITIES

Judgement you can draw on.
Ownership stays with your team.

I provide independent advice and guidance. You and your existing technical suppliers retain responsibility for implementation, delivery and operating your platform.

If a question needs a detailed audit, specialist assessment or significant investigation, we can clarify the scope of the separate work needed. Ordinary advisory conversations cannot independently verify an entire codebase or eliminate technical risk.

PRACTICAL DETAILS

Your questions, answered.

Is this a fractional CTO service?

This is an independent advisory relationship, not an executive or engineering-management role. I help you evaluate decisions and options; you and your technical suppliers remain responsible for implementation and operating the platform.

Can I ask questions between sessions?

Yes. Direct email access is included, with an initial response within one UK working day (Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays). An initial response is not a promise to complete an investigation within that time. Complex requests requiring significant investigation need separate scoping.

Can I cancel or return later?

There is no long-term contract. You can cancel with one month’s notice. You can subsequently resume, subject to availability and the pricing in effect at that time. A break does not reserve a place or preserve your previous rate.

Do I need a Technical Clarity Session first?

No. You can apply directly for monthly advisory. A short introductory fit conversation is complimentary and helps us assess suitability; it is distinct from the paid, 90-minute Technical Clarity Session.

What happens after I apply?

I review each application personally. If I believe I can help and have availability, we’ll arrange a complimentary fit conversation. Applying does not guarantee a place or commit either of us.
