What we collect
When you enquire, apply for monthly advisory or request a Technical Clarity Session, you may provide your name, business email, company, website, role, approximate revenue range, development arrangements, technical leadership and the concerns you choose to share. We also receive correspondence relating to your enquiry or engagement.
Please do not submit passwords, access keys, source code, sensitive personal information or confidential information about your customers.
Why we use it
We use your information to assess suitability and availability, respond to you, arrange a fit conversation or paid session, organise payment and scheduling, and provide agreed advisory services. We do not add applicants to a marketing list or use automated decisions to select clients.
We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and assessing appropriate engagements, and on taking steps at your request before a contract or performing a contract where applicable. Records needed for tax, accounting or other legal requirements are handled to meet those legal obligations. Security processing supports our legitimate interest in protecting this website and preventing abuse.
How forms and email work
Where secure form submission is available, your details travel over HTTPS to our Cloudflare Worker, which validates the request and sends it through Mailgun to admin@takanomi.com. Our mailbox is hosted by Google Workspace. The website does not store applications in a database.
If the form offers an email alternative, it prepares text on your device. You must send that email yourself; preparing or copying it does not submit an application. Your email provider then processes the message in the usual way.
Form details are not saved in browser storage by the website. Spam controls use a hidden field, submission timing and rate limiting. Connection information may be processed to prevent excessive requests. Application contents are not intentionally written to website diagnostic logs.
Hosting and analytics
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes connection information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver and protect the site. This site does not set advertising cookies or add you to advertising audiences.
No separate analytics script is included in the website code. If Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled through our hosting dashboard, it provides aggregate website-usage measurements without advertising cookies. This notice will be updated if we introduce additional tracking or marketing tools.
Service providers and international processing
Cloudflare provides website hosting and protection; Mailgun provides secure form email delivery when enabled; Google Workspace provides our business mailbox. These providers process information for those purposes. Our configured Mailgun service uses its US region, and provider infrastructure may process data outside the UK. Where required, international transfers must be covered by applicable adequacy arrangements or appropriate contractual safeguards. You can contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry.
There is no embedded payment checkout or scheduling service on this website. If we send you separate payment instructions, the provider and relevant information will be identified at that stage. We do not collect card details through these forms.
How long information is kept
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond, assess a potential engagement and follow up on that discussion. Client correspondence and records may be kept longer to deliver services, meet legal and accounting requirements, or deal with disputes. Retention depends on the purpose, whether an engagement follows and any applicable legal obligations; contact us if you would like us to review information held about you.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, restriction of processing, or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Some rights are subject to exceptions, including legal record-keeping requirements.
